Introduction to the Technology Entrepreneurship Program
The Technology Entrepreneurship program at DTU offers a unique opportunity for students to develop their skills as entrepreneurs and work closely in teams with diverse backgrounds to create technology for people, society, and the climate. The program leads to the title of Master of Science in Technology Entrepreneurship.
Program Structure
The 2-year master's program is designed to develop students' skills in entrepreneurship, going beyond what can be learned from a traditional academic curriculum. Students will strengthen their competencies by taking action, creating, reflecting, and implementing, all aimed at preparing them for the future. The program combines real startup ideas and technology with courses in fundamental entrepreneurship, ethics, personal development, and sustainability.

- Sustainability These specializations ensure that graduates have the individual and collective profiles required to succeed with a technology startup.
Career Opportunities
Graduates of the Technology Entrepreneurship program will have a wide range of career opportunities, including:
- Entrepreneur: Students will explore which role in a startup suits them best and develop their skills accordingly. Upon graduation, they will have launched their startup and be ready to continue their entrepreneurial career outside the university.
- Impact Entrepreneur and Change-Maker: By using their innovative problem-solving skills to address societal challenges, graduates can pursue a career in sustainable startups, non-profits, charities, universities, government, or innovation hubs in larger companies.
- Intrapreneur: As an intrapreneur, graduates will apply their entrepreneurial skills within large companies, driving innovation in product development and marketing.
- Innovation Manager: Through the program, students will gain extensive experience in managing innovative processes in cross-functional teams. As innovation managers, they will oversee and drive research, development, and scaling processes in companies and organizations.
- Engineer: Graduates will also develop their technical and engineering competencies, focusing on state-of-the-art technology. This unique ability will provide them with good job opportunities in leadership and management of large engineering projects in technology-based startups, established companies, and Tech Transfer Offices.
Further Education
After completing their master's degree, graduates may choose to pursue a 3-year Ph.D. study at DTU, which is a research education in international top class. They can choose between a regular Ph.D. study or an Industrial Ph.D., where they are employed in a company while pursuing their Ph.D.
