ErhvervsPhD-ordningen

The ErhvervsPhD-ordningen is a program administered and supported by the Innovationsfonden, with the purpose of promoting development and innovation in Danish businesses.

Program Description

The program provides support for a three-year industry-focused PhD project, where the student is employed or hired by a company and simultaneously enrolled at a university.

Financial Support

Innovationsfonden finances up to 17,000 kr. per month of the industry PhD student's salary for three years. Additionally, the company can apply for 100,000 kr. to cover the industry PhD student's foreign stay, conference participation, and PhD courses outside the university. The university receives a subsidy (including overhead) for the three-year period of 360,000 kr.
