Become a college engineer in 3 years
KTH's university engineering courses take three years and are developed together with industry. Theoretical elements are often followed by projects and laboratories where the students can use the new knowledge. The programs include training in using equipment and methods, which makes the college engineers well prepared for working life. There are good opportunities to make contacts with companies already during your studies.
The teaching is largely timetabled and you often complete several courses in parallel. The education ends with a degree project that can be carried out either at KTH, abroad or at a company.
You are a fully qualified engineer after three years and can start working immediately after graduation, university engineers are sought after on the labor market and the career opportunities are good. You can also choose to continue with a master's degree at KTH or at another university in Sweden or abroad.
What language is the education given in?
The programs are designed so that the teaching is given in Swedish. However, you should be prepared that the course literature may be in English right from the start and depending on who is teaching, some teaching sessions may also be held in English.
