Content and Learning Outcomes
Course Disposition
The course is subdivided into seminars, hereby giving the student an opportunity to explore a particular theme and to become acquainted with a research practice. Each seminar is supervised by a lecturer with research background.
Course Contents
- Participation in scientific seminar
- Reflection on how the content and form of the seminars will/were applied for improving ongoing PhD studies.
Intended Learning Outcomes
After completion of the course the doctoral student should have the knowledge and ability to:
- describe and explain the theories and empirical findings in their specialist area
- present and discuss research findings from their own scientific studies
- critically analyze and evaluate the methods and results from their own and others scientific studies

- SEM1 - Seminar, 2.5 credits, grading scale: P, F Based on recommendation from KTH's coordinator for disabilities, the examiner will decide how to adapt an examination for students with documented disability.
