The Master of Science in Architecture and Building Science program at King Saud University's College of Architecture and Planning is the first Master of Architecture program in Saudi Arabia.

The program's specific goals can be summarized as follows:
- Attract and train qualified local and international graduates in architecture and building sciences.
- Empower students to independently conduct and present scientific research.
- Develop students' intellectual, professional, and research skills in architecture and building sciences within ethical frameworks.
- Produce research in architecture and building science, and publish findings in reputable local and international journals.
- Meet the development needs of Saudi Arabia through research in architecture and building sciences.

The department offers a master's degree in several tracks:
- Architectural History and Theory
- Facilities Design

- Construction Technology and Project Management
Program Requirements
The master's degree is a 2-4 years full-time or a 2-5 years part-time program. To successfully complete the program, candidates must complete the following requirements:
- Complete thirty-one (31) hours scheduled in the architecture program, with at least 18 hours in one of the focus areas of the program.
- Prepare a program with the approval of their academic mentor and head of department.
- Terminate all conditional cases and complete the special requirements for their admission.
- Satisfactorily complete the subject of the message in the field of specialization of their choice and discuss it.
- Get a cumulative rate of at least (B) when graduating.
- Have good manners and adhere to the principles of the profession.
