Course Description

Attending Courses

  • Courses are held at PSCEMS-KSU Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz College for Emergency Medical Services
  • Participants must maintain attendance and adhere to pre-set session times
  • Participants are expected to demonstrate values and ethics of attending training courses

Certificates

  • To obtain a course certificate, participants must attend the entire training course
  • Participants must pass tests (if applicable)
  • Certificates will be sent within one week of the last day of the course

Cancellation and Refund

  • Participants must submit a cancellation or postponement application at least 30 days before the session
  • The PSCEMS has the right to accept or reject the request
  • Courses scheduled within less than 30 days cannot be rescheduled or refunded
  • In the event of a medical excuse, the course will be rescheduled once without penalty
  • Participants who are late or absent will not be eligible for a refund
  • KSU Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz College for Emergency Medical Services reserves the right to cancel any training course or change its appointment

Precourse Requirements

  • Participants must review and understand the information in the HS, BLS, ACLS, and PALS Provider Manual
  • Participants must pass the mandatory precourse self-assessment for ACLS and PALS Provider courses
  • Participants must complete the mandatory precourse work (video lessons) for ACLS and PALS Provider courses
  • Participants must ensure their BLS skills and knowledge are current for resuscitation scenarios

What to Bring and What to Wear

  • Participants must bring their HS, BLS, ACLS, and PALS Provider Manual or eBook to each class
  • Participants should wear loose, comfortable clothing to class
