IAA Certificate in Marketing Communications
Program Overview
The International Advertising Association (IAA) in New York is a unique strategic institution that champions the common interests of all marketing and advertising disciplines worldwide. Every student graduating in the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communication (B.F.A.) majoring in Advertising, and the Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) majoring in Advertising and Integrated Marketing Communications programs will receive an IAA Certificate in Marketing Communications in addition to their AUD degree.
Program Details
The IAA Certificate in Marketing Communications is a 39-credit hour program taught by several current and past practitioners in the marketing field. Students already completing the following degrees will automatically receive the Certificate upon graduation:
- Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communication (B.F.A.) - Advertising major
- Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) - Advertising and Integrated Marketing Communications major
Facilities
AUD's School of Business provides its students with the following facilities:
- 11 regular classrooms, three computer labs, four theater style classrooms, student lounge, conference room and stock trading room
- Regular classrooms vary in size and can accommodate anything from 20 to 44 students
- The AUD/IBM Center of Excellence for Smarter Logistics (CESL) can be set as a board room with 18 seats, a venue for concurrent break-out sessions in separate groups of three teams (six members in each), a class-room conducive for group discussions or formal lectures, and includes a 87-inch smart screen, connected to local and external cloud systems
- Stock trading room has a seating capacity of 35 and large screens with trading terminals for students to simulate stock trading
- All classrooms and computer labs are equipped with Instructor PC (HP EliteDesk 800 G1 SFF) connected to a ceiling-mounted projector and audio speakers
