Professional Photography Training

Course Overview

The Professional Photography Training prepares candidates for an advanced level of camera lighting and artistic compositions. The training covers various types of photography, including product, food, fashion, portraits, landscapes, events, and more.

Certificate

A Certificate of Completion is provided by the Canadian University Dubai at the end of the course, upon submission of a project.

Schedule

The Professional Photography Training consists of 5 sessions, with a total duration of 15 hours.

Fees

The fees for the Professional Photography Training are as follows:

Course Outline

The course outline includes:

• Introduction to digital photography
• Nomenclature of DSLR & Mirrorless cameras
• The Exposure Triangle
• Camera lens types, features, and purpose
• Composition and framing
• Understanding of the technical functions of a camera and the ability to operate it
• Practical exercises to improve camera use
• Camera white balance and temperature
• Control and use of different lights
• Different types of photography (portrait, journalistic, corporate, landscape, etc.)
• Practicing photography types (portrait, food, fashion, events, etc.)
• Creating a portfolio

Equipment

Students are suggested to bring their own camera and flash to on-campus sessions. For online sessions, students are required to have a DSLR or Mirrorless camera.
