Certificate/Short Course in Acting & Dramatical Space

Overview

The Certificate/Short Course in Acting & Dramatical Space is a 36-hour comprehensive workshop that aims to provide the skills of acting and performing, dealing with a directing vision. The workshop covers all aspects of visual art related to dramatical space, including music, lighting, fashion, makeup, and decoration, as well as performing in e-learning programs, electronic visual works, and electronic performing arts.


Course Structure

  • Duration: 36 hours
  • Times/Week: 3 days per week
  • Course Overview & Outcomes:
    • Overview: The comprehensive workshop develops the abilities of actors and enables them to acquire cognitive tools of design elements and dealing with cinematography in visual art.
    • Outcomes: Create a clear curriculum in managing the actor and achieving creative outcomes of art, be a professional multipurpose actor in all fields of visual art, collaborate as an actor with creative visual art elements, act in audio/visual work, and manage small projects in art or other fields.

Week-by-Week Breakdown

  • Week 1: Introduction to Acting (3 Hours)
    • Understanding basic psychology and philosophy in dramatical space
    • Understanding the elements and tools that help to enter acting skills
    • Introduction to actor's pronunciation skills, dramatic escalation, facial expressions, meanings of human expressions, silent communication language
  • Weeks 2 & 3: Acting Skills (12 hours)
    • Acting Skills (Mono) – creating your own dramatical space of acting included project and discussion
    • Practicing pronunciation skills, dramatic escalation, facial expressions, meanings of human expressions, silent communication language (developed)
    • Acting skills (duet and group)
    • Acting practicing projects
    • Acting for the Theater
  • Weeks 4&5: Acting for TV, Film (9 hours)
    • Introduction to production and directing (actor's relationship with production and director)
    • Introduction to artistic criticism
    • Acting in performances
    • Body language in art
  • Week 6: Multi-tasking actor (3 Hours)
    • Multi-tasking actor – representation in electronic social media and social interaction
    • Multi-tasking actor – representation and performance in e-learning
    • Multi-tasking actor – animation acting and dubbing skills
  • Weeks 7 & 8: Artistic Space and Projects with Supervision (9 Hours)
    • Entrance to The Sonography
    • Artistic Space
    • Artistic Space Entrance to The Sonography
    • Fashion Accessories and Makeup
    • Participants will be asked to write their short acting project including the script
    • They will start developing their project under the instructors' supervision
    • Participants will direct their actions and will meet for a session with their supervisor for revisions
    • By the end of this week, participants will screen their final projects
    • Artistic criticism of the theater
    • Artistic Criticism of Cinema
    • Actor and Acting markets

  • Domestic Entry Requirements: There are no requirements regarding previous academic attainment or English proficiency. However, there are some courses that require prerequisite knowledge.
