Webdesign and Development Grundlagen Kurzkurs

Description

The Webdesign and Development Grundlagen Kurzkurs is a 4-month course that teaches the fundamentals of web design and development.

Duration

• 4 months
• 16 weeks of instruction (including 2 weeks of self-directed project time)
• Every Saturday, 5 hours of lectures (including a lunch break)

Requirements

• Gymnasiale or berufliche Matur or completed apprenticeship or sur dossier
• Minimum age 18 years
• German language proficiency (written and spoken)
• Basic English language skills
• Basic computer skills
• Motivation letter
• Modern laptop
• 10-finger typing system

Tuition Fees

• Prepayment: CHF 5,480 (including CHF 400 registration fee)
• Installment payment: 4 x CHF 1,360 plus CHF 400 registration fee (total CHF 5,840)

• January (Wednesday and Thursday, 17:30 - 20:30)
• July (Monday and Tuesday, 17:30 - 20:30)

• Layout for the web (screen design)
• HTML5 and CSS3
• Accessibility/barrier-free design
• CSS animations
• Responsive web design

Projects and Exams

• Sketches
• Layout assets (preparation of web-relevant building blocks)
• Web project concept
• Web project (screen design and translation into HTML and CSS)
• Analysis of content and design
• HTML/CSS in the classroom

Degree Programs

The 2022/3 degree programs are developed, delivered, and assessed by SAE Institute and awarded by and quality assured by the University of Hertfordshire. Students enrolled in degree programs prior to January 1, 2022, are on programs developed, delivered, and assessed by SAE Institute and awarded by and quality assured by Middlesex University.
