The Live Sound Production program is designed for individuals who want to pursue a career in sound production and work in the live industry. The course covers essential in-depth theory on the principles of sound, acoustics, and gain structure, as well as hands-on training on equipment, components, and settings.

Overview

The program aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of live sound production, including patching and using the mixing desk, understanding and using EQ, Grouping and Routing, using the matrix, and recording a live mix.

• LSP102: Principle of Sound and Sound Production
• LSP103: Basic Electronic
• LSP104: Loudspeaker and Management System
• LSP105: Introduction to Mixing Console
• LSP106: Signal Processing
• LSP107: Front of House
• LSP108: Final Exam

Lecturer

The program is taught by Norman Hajadi, a Live Sound Engineer and Founder of VST Production, who is also an SAE Audio Lecturer.

Schedule

The program is scheduled to take place on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 19:00 to 22:00.
