Admission Procedure

  • Copies of recent school reports and/or diplomas or a certificate of success.
  • International students must provide a French language proficiency test (TCF) at level B2.
  • Admission requires passing an individual interview with the admission jury and a general knowledge QCM test.

Specialization in Audio for Animation (Bac+3)

This specialization aims to prepare students for careers in sound design and audio integration in the animation industry. The program is offered in Paris and lasts for 1 year in alternance (3 weeks in a company - 1 week at school). The diploma awarded is a Level 5 RNCP title - Sound Technician.


Objectives of the Specialization

The objectives of this specialization are to:


  • Operate sound recording equipment in a studio or on a set for an audiovisual project.
  • Perform sound editing for an audiovisual project.
  • Mix sound elements for an audiovisual project.
  • Design and implement sound diffusion in a cultural or event setting.

Pedagogical Methods and Evaluation

The learning process is largely based on practical pedagogy, with workshops, collective projects, and technical exercises. Evaluations are both formative (continuous assessment of skills) and certificative (validation of competency blocks).

Graduates can work in various fields, including music production, event sound engineering, audiovisual broadcasting, cinema, video games, and internet. Specific job roles include sound recorder, sound mixer, sound editor, sound technician, foley artist, sound operator, and sound assistant.


Indicators of Performance (RNCP39963)

Performance indicators for this program include the number of certified students, insertion rate at 6 months, insertion rate in the targeted profession at 6 months and 2 years, and dropout rate. These indicators will be calculated and available by September 1, 2027.

To integrate into the program, students must meet the prerequisite diploma, level of study, and/or experience requirements. The application process involves:
