Introduction to the MPA Program at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences

The University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, abbreviated as UCAS, is a innovative university that integrates science and education, with a focus on graduate education and elite undergraduate education. The MPA Education Center at UCAS is located in the Zhongguancun campus and has been authorized to grant MPA degrees since 2014.

Program Overview

The MPA program at UCAS aims to cultivate high-level, interdisciplinary talents who can apply management, politics, economics, law, and modern technology to solve practical problems in public management. The program has a strong faculty team with 60 supervisors and offers various research directions, including:

Admission Requirements

To be eligible for the MPA program, applicants must meet the following requirements:

1. Be a citizen of the People's Republic of China.
2. Support the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party and have a correct political direction.
3. Be in good physical health.
4. Meet one of the following academic and work experience requirements:

• Have a bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of work experience.
• Have a junior college diploma or equivalent, and at least 5 years of work experience.
• Have a master's or doctoral degree and at least 2 years of work experience.

Application and Admission Process

The application process involves online registration and confirmation. Applicants must:

1. Check the admission brochure and announcement on the UCAS website.
2. Register online and fill in the application form.
3. Upload required documents and pay the application fee.
4. Participate in the entrance examination, which includes a written test and an interview.

Entrance Examination

The entrance examination consists of two parts: a written test and an interview. The written test is a national unified examination for management majors, and the interview is conducted by the MPA Education Center.
