Introduction to the International Project Manager Certification (IPMP) Program

The International Project Manager Certification (IPMP) is a comprehensive assessment of project management professionals' knowledge, experience, and ability levels. The IPMP C-level certificate, also known as the Certified Project Manager, enables holders to manage complex projects and assist senior project managers.

Program Overview

The China Academy of Sciences University Training Center will organize the IPMP C-level training and certification for Master's students in Engineering Management and Project Management Engineering.

Eligibility and Admission Criteria

The program is open to China Academy of Sciences University students, including current and graduated students.

• Project Management Engineering Master's students who have completed six project management courses with an average score of 70 or above are exempt from the written exam.
• Engineering Management Master's students who have completed five engineering management courses with an average score of 70 or above are exempt from the written exam.
• Applicants must have at least three years of experience as a project manager or in a project management role within the last six years (extendable to 10 years under special circumstances).

Training and Certification Details

Training Schedule

The training will take place on March 23-25, 2024, with a total of 24 class hours.

• The IPMP C-level interview certification will be held from April 8-10, 2024, with specific times determined by the IPMP certification center.

Course Curriculum

The training covers:

• Project management foundation knowledge, including project justification and evaluation, project planning and control, project organization and team, and project comprehensive management.
• How to fill out the IPMP application form.
• Interpretation of the ICB 4.0 competency elements and pre-interview coaching.

Faculty and Certification

The training will be conducted by experienced instructors familiar with the IPMP certification system and possessing rich project management experience.

Program Application and Certification Process

1. Application Period: February 29, 2024, to March 8, 2024, with a minimum of 30 students required to open the class.
2. Application Materials: Completed application form, personal score transcript, electronic color photo, and other required electronic proof materials.
3. Review and Notification: The training center will review the application materials and send a "Registration and Payment Notice" to confirmed students.
4. Training and Certification: Students must complete all training content and apply for the interview certification after passing the review.
5. Certification Result: The certification result will be announced within two months after the network interview.
6. Certificate Issuance: Students who pass the certification will receive a paper certificate issued by the IPMP China Certification Committee within three months after the result announcement.

Fees and Payment

• C-level Training Fee: 6,800 yuan per person, with a discount of 3,000 yuan for China Academy of Sciences University students.
• C-level Certification Fee: 5,200 yuan per person, with a 7% discount for China Academy of Sciences University students.
• Total Fee: 6,640 yuan per person.
