Introduction to the NCUK International Foundation Year
The NCUK International Foundation Year is a qualification designed in partnership with university partners to prepare students for first-year entry to a bachelor's degree. This program is designed to bridge the gap between local qualifications and university study, providing students with the necessary academic and English language skills to succeed at an international university.
Program Details
- Duration: 7 - 9 months
- Fees: AED 60,000, with a 10,000 AED discount available
- The program is accredited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) of the UAE Ministry of Education and licensed by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA)
Guaranteed Access
Upon successfully completing the NCUK International Foundation Year, students are guaranteed a place on a suitable course at an NCUK University. NCUK acts in the best interests of its students, helping them realize their dreams and ambitions both at university and afterwards in their life and career.
Qualifications and Recognition
- Upon successful completion, students receive a certificate from NCUK and a transcript detailing individual module results
- The NCUK International Foundation Year is formally recognized by leading universities worldwide, allowing students to gain access to top-ranked international universities
- The qualification is recognized by more than 45 universities around the world, including those in Australia, the UK, USA, New Zealand, Canada, and France
Progression to Bachelor's Degree
Students who successfully complete the International Foundation Year will have a wide range of opportunities to study in various countries. They will have the certainty of knowing they have passed the foundation program before traveling overseas for higher education.
Location
The University of Wollongong in Dubai, where the program is offered, is located in the heart of Dubai's vibrant education and training cluster, Dubai Knowledge Park.
