English Program Overview

The English program at the University of Houston has been redesigned to meet the social, political, and environmental challenges of the 21st century. The program accommodates professionals who work full- or part-time and features new courses, including Young Adult Latinx Literature, Literature & the Environment, and Rhetoric of Public Culture.


M.A. in English
