Scholar Enrichment Program
The Scholar Enrichment Program (SEP) is designed to create a learning community for students in high-risk classes. The program features workshops that enhance learning and problem-solving skills.
Program Details
- The program offers tutoring in 18 subjects, accessible to all university students regardless of major, at no cost.
- Tutoring services are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Workshops are designed to support students enrolled in gateway science and mathematics courses, such as calculus, chemistry, and physics.
Awards and Recognition
- The program has received the INSIGHT into Diversity Magazine's Inspiring Programs in STEM Award.
- It has also received the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board's Star Award.
Louis Stokes Alliance
The Louis Stokes STEM Pathways & Research Alliance is a model alliance working to increase the accessibility of STEM disciplines for all students.
