Introduction to Geosensing Systems Engineering & Sciences
The Geosensing Systems Engineering & Sciences (GSES) graduate program offers opportunities for students from a wide range of disciplines to become next-generation global engineers and scientists. This program is supported by four faculty members in Civil & Environmental Engineering (CEE).
Program Overview
The GSES graduate program is open to students with a B.S. degree in engineering, geomatics, geosciences, physics, astronomy, computer sciences, geography, or any related field. Admission to the program requires appropriate and required GRE scores; international students must also provide TOEFL scores.
Degree Programs
- Ph.D. in Geosensing Systems Engineering & Sciences:
- Requires a minimum of 54 credit hours beyond an approved 30-credit M.S. degree.
- Students must write a dissertation containing original research and defend it before graduating.
Funding and Support
Funding is available for qualified students in the GSES graduate program.
