Al Tikha Archaeological Field School (Oman)

The Al Tikha Archaeological Field School is a winter school program that offers students the opportunity to participate in archaeological research in Oman.

The program aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of archaeological research in Al-Tikha, Oman, both in the field and in the processing of materials.


  • Who can apply: Bachelor's, Master's, and PhD students from European and extra-European universities in Archeology or Cultural Heritage, professionals in this field.
  • Application: Proof of enrollment in a degree program in Archeology or Cultural Heritage (or possession of the degree), identity document, enrollment form, curriculum vitae, and proof of tetanus vaccination.
  • Fees: Tuition fees (1000€) and other costs (1000€ for board and lodging).
  • Refund policy: In the event of documented health reasons, student accident, or close related bereavement, the tuition fees will be refunded, provided the request is submitted within 15 days of the start of the Winter School.
