Agritech – Agricoltura digitale per lo sviluppo sostenibile (Agritech – Digital Agriculture for Sustainable Development)

This course is offered by the Department of Agricultural, Food, and Agro-Environmental Sciences, in partnership with other departments and institutions.

Obiettivi Formativi (Learning Objectives)

• Acquisire principi, concetti e terminologia dell'agricoltura digitale (Acquire principles, concepts, and terminology of digital agriculture)
• Conoscere le principali soluzioni tecnologiche per l'agricoltura digitale e la loro evoluzione (Know the main technological solutions for digital agriculture and their evolution)
• Acquisire la capacità di gestire strumenti di agricoltura digitale (Acquire the ability to manage digital agriculture tools)
• Acquisire la capacità di interagire con i fornitori e gli sviluppatori di tecnologia per il disegno e la scelta di applicazioni innovative (Acquire the ability to interact with technology providers and developers for the design and selection of innovative applications)
• Acquisire la capacità di valutare l'impatto socio-economico delle tecnologie digitali (Acquire the ability to evaluate the socio-economic impact of digital technologies)

Struttura del corso (Course Structure)

The course is online, with specific in-person meetings at the Centro di Rottaia of the University of Pisa.

Requisiti di ammissione (Admission Requirements)

• Lo studente ordinario deve possedere una laurea triennale (in qualsiasi disciplina) (The regular student must have a three-year degree in any discipline)
• Per lo studente uditore non sono previsti requisiti di ammissione (There are no admission requirements for auditing students)

Durata del corso (Course Duration)

The course lasts 90 hours, with:

• 48 hours of online teaching
• 22 hours of business cases with company experience
• 20 hours of project work (individual or group)

Edizioni (Editions)

• I edizione: lezioni online (February – June 2023), prova finale online (September 2023)
• II edizione: lezioni online (October 2023 – February 2024), prova finale online (March 2024)

The maximum number of participants per edition is 55 (40 regular students, 15 auditing students).

Titolo (Title)

An attestation of completion "non valutabile nell'esercizio degli uffici e delle professioni e nell'ambito della ricerca scientifica" (not evaluable in the exercise of offices and professions and in the field of scientific research) is issued to students who have completed the course.

Quota di iscrizione (Enrollment Fee)

• Studente ordinario: 650€
• Studente uditore: 325€

Two scholarships of 250€ each are available for the second edition, to be assigned based on specific criteria.
