BIP Blended Intensive Programme

The BIP Blended Intensive Programme is a new initiative introduced by the Erasmus+ programme, which combines short periods of face-to-face activities with online learning and cooperation. The programme is designed to develop transnational and transdisciplinary curricula, innovative teaching methods, and research-based learning.

Eligibility and Requirements

To be eligible for the BIP programme, institutions must:

• Be a higher education institution holding an Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE)
• Be located in a programme country
• Have a minimum of 3 partner institutions from at least 3 different programme countries

Programme Structure

A BIP must include:

• A virtual component with no minimum duration
• A physical mobility component lasting between 5 and 30 days
• A minimum of 3 ECTS credits awarded upon completion of the programme

Participation and Funding

There is no maximum number of participants, but the minimum number of participants in the physical mobility component is 10 Erasmus+ students from the co-organising institutions. Participants from other higher education institutions in programme countries or partner countries can also join, but they do not count towards the minimum number of 10 participants.

Call for Proposals

The call for proposals for the BIP programme is open, and institutions can submit their applications. The programme is designed to promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and social responsibility, and to provide students with a unique learning experience.
