Ph.D. Program in Life Sciences

The Ph.D. program in Life Sciences is a three-year program that starts on November 1, 2024. The program is coordinated by the University of Siena in conjunction with the Universities of Florence and Pisa, and the CNR-IBE. The program is divided into two curricula:

• Biodiversità e Conservazione: focuses on the mechanisms of evolution and ecology related to biodiversity and environmental management
• Biologia, Fisio-Patologia e Farmacologia Cellulare: focuses on the understanding of cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying diseases and the interaction of drugs and vaccines with living organisms

The program offers scholarships, including the Pegaso scholarship, financed by the PR FSE 2021-2027 within the framework of the Giovanisì project of the Tuscany Region.
