617AA: Assistive Technologies for Teaching
The course "Assistive Technologies for Teaching" is part of the Informatica Umanistica program.
Practical Information
- The course is led by Head Teacher Susanna Pelagatti and Co-Teacher Barbara Leporini.
- Office hours are by appointment, to be arranged via email.
- Other instructors include Donatella Fantozzi, Maria Claudia Buzzi, Marina Buzzi, Luca Fanucci, and Stefano Chessa.
- The course schedule is as follows: Mondays from 2.15pm to 3.45pm and Tuesdays from 4.00pm to 5.30pm in the PS4 room former Fibonacci pole presidency. The course will also be held online on Teams.

Exam
There are two options for the exam:
- Completing a project (project)
- Preparing for review (review) In both cases, the topic must be agreed upon with the instructors (Pelagatti or Leporini). For the project, the following contexts are available: USID of the University of Pisa, Schools of the Municipality of Pisa, Various Pisan Associations, University Museum System, or other contexts to be agreed upon with the instructor.
Exam Procedures
The exam can be taken in one of the following ways:
- Seminar at the end of the course (seminar at the end of the course): The last lessons of the course are dedicated to student presentations. Slides and other materials from previous years' projects can be found on this page.
- Written + oral report (written report + oral presentation): To be arranged by appointment with the instructor during regular exam sessions. In this case, students must contact the instructor to agree on the topic of the report and submit the report and any additional materials at least 15 days before the intended oral exam date.
- Students from CoMeTe who followed the course in previous years and wish to take the exam have until the end of the academic year to do so and are requested to contact the instructors for exam arrangements.
