Coaching for High Performance is designed to equip managers with the tools, skills, and mindset of world-class coaches. This virtual program helps participants empower the people they coach, increasing their commitment and improving their performance.
Program Overview
The program integrates examples from the sports and business worlds, providing an innovative framework to create a clear picture of what great coaches can achieve—and how they manage to achieve it. Participants learn the concepts and skills of a coaching style of management that builds commitment, drives employee engagement, gets results, and can be integrated into their existing repertoire of leadership skills.

Coaching Companion
The included Coaching Companion provides three months of online support delivered via email, reinforcing the tools learned in the workshop. Participants are given specific 'homework' in applying each of the core skill sets of the Coaching For High Performance model, guided in reflecting on their application, and provided with additional resources for deepening their development.
Dynamic Virtual Classroom
The program features a dynamic virtual classroom, where participants can engage from anywhere. The online learning platform combines live, interactive video instruction with breakout sessions, panel discussions, and expert Q&A.

Accreditation
Coaching For High Performance has been accredited with 12 hours of Continuing Coaching Education (CCEs), which count towards an ICF Certified Coach's credential renewal.

- Volume Discounts: A 15% discount for organizations that pre-pay for five or more seats on any program within a 12-month period.

Program Themes
The program is dedicated to four overarching themes:
- Mindset & Feedback: Laying a foundation for coaching that begins with defining coaching and understanding the mindset of a coach.
- Recognition: Exploring how recognition is instrumental in building relationships, maintaining motivation, and providing clarity on what drives high performance.
- Questioning & Listening & GROW: Identifying key areas where people require clarity to be committed and perform at the highest levels, and using effective questions and respectful listening to unlock solutions and build commitment.
- Confronting: Learning how to effectively prepare for and engage in challenging conversations, building on the skills developed throughout the program.
Session Leaders
Session leaders include senior professors from Smith School of Business and knowledgeable experts from industry, such as Kim Fulton and Monique Kavelaars, who bring extensive experience in leadership development and coaching.
