Standard First Aid and CPR Training Program
Program Overview
The Standard First Aid and CPR training program is designed to promote a safe workplace on campus. This training is only available to Queen's Faculty, Staff, or Graduate Students.
Program Details
- The program covers adults, children, and infants, plus choking procedures.
- Certification expires after 3 years.
- Instruction is given by an outside company that is a WSIB approved provider.
- The program consists of both lecture and practical components.
Registration and Cancellation Policy
- A valid account code string is required to register for the program.
- Spaces in sessions or the wait list will not be held unless an account code is provided.
- A minimum of 3 business days' notice is required for cancellation.
- Departments or individuals will be charged the full provider's cancellation fee or a minimum of $65.00 for cancellations without required notice or for 'no-shows', or partial completion.
Program Schedule and Location
- The program is 2 full days in duration, and 100% attendance is mandatory.
- Late arrival may not be given access to training.
- On-campus courses are held in Complex B176 of Mackintosh-Corry Hall, in the Seminar Room, from 9:00am - 4:30pm both days.
- Off-campus training schedules and locations will be shared in email confirmations.
