About the Data Science in Mining Course
This course presents a comprehensive overview of the key elements of data science for engineers, with application to mining problems. Topics include data cleaning, organization, and manipulation, data collection, visualization, and noise filtering. Regression as a data analysis technique is covered, with a focus on the practical application of data science in the engineering context to make predictions and decisions based on statistical inference of data.
