Group III: Special Topics I
Tree to Page to Tree: The Literature of Environmental Engagement
This course focuses on the literature of environmental engagement, with a particular emphasis on forests. Students will analyze representations of literary trees in traditional fairy and folk tales, as well as contemporary fiction, poetry, film, and essay. The course will also include activities outside of the classroom, such as campus tree tours and forest bathing.
