Masterful Coaching Course MCC Coaching Education

The Masterful Coaching Course (MCC) is designed for those who want to deepen their coaching practice in a supportive environment. This Level 3 ICF Accredited Coaching Education program prepares students for the MCC Credential through in-depth, collaborative instruction on partnership and performance, coaching presence, vulnerability, assumptions, bias, confidence, and more.

Program Dates

The Masterful Coaching Course Cohort 4 will take place from January to June 2026, with 16 sessions on Tuesdays at 1:30 PM (EST) start times. The program schedule includes:

• January 13: Setting the Foundation - Establishing community agreements, course overview, and an introduction to masterful coaching.
• January 20: MCC Demo 1 - Live demonstration of masterful coaching with guided reflection on key distinctions.
• January 27: Practice Lab 1 - Hands-on integration of early concepts with peer feedback and coaching practice.
• February 10: MCC Competency Distinctions - Deep dive into presence, partnership, and proficiency at the MCC level.
• February 17: MCC Demo 2 - Advanced coaching observation with emphasis on nuanced techniques.
• February 24: Practice Lab 2 - Apply newly explored competencies in a supportive practice environment.
• March 10: Authentic Coach Presence - Explore values alignment, self-trust, and congruence in coaching relationships.
• March 17: MCC Demo 3 - Focused observation of presence-centered coaching in action.
• March 24: Practice Lab 3 - Strengthen authentic presence through experiential learning and feedback.
• April 7: Mid-Point Check - Celebrate progress, reflect on growth, and chart the path forward.
• April 14: MCC Demo 4 - Observe advanced distinctions and deepen understanding of MCC-level coaching.
• April 21: Practice Lab 4 - Integrate mid-program skills and refine coaching techniques.
• May 5: Bias & Perspective - Examine how personal lenses shape coaching moves and client outcomes.
• May 12: Practice Lab 5 - Apply bias awareness in coaching scenarios.
• May 19: MCC Demo 5 - Final demonstration showcasing mastery and integration of core competencies.
• June 2: Program Completion - Present self-development projects, celebrate achievements, and graduate with confidence.

Format

This 100 percent virtual course is designed for PCC Credentialed Coaches interested in applying for the MCC Credential using the MCC Application Path. Over 5 months, requirements will include 79 total hours 46 synchronous hours, and 33 asynchronous hours.

Program Details

Throughout the course, there is a focus on developing coaches who want to dive into the deepest, most inquisitive levels of their practice. In a collaborative environment, you will learn how to:

• Build a strong foundation of awareness, practice, and embodiment of masterful coaching
• Increase comprehension of masterful coaching distinctions
• Develop and strengthen mindfulness practices
• Deepen the integration of your unique coaching strengths and authentic coaching style
• Identify and eliminate invisible barriers to your command of coaching
• Gain confidence and readiness for applying to the International Coaching Federation for the Master Certified Coaching (MCC) credential

Tuition

The tuition for the Masterful Coaching Course is $7,595. A 10% discount is available for Mason faculty and staff, Mason coaching alumni, and ICF DC Metro members. The cost of course texts is not included, and payment plans are available.
