Bachelor's of Applied Science (BAS) Program

The Bachelor's of Applied Science (BAS) program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in applied sciences. The program is offered by George Mason University and is limited to students in the UN-BAS-APLS program.


Program Courses

  • BAS 493: BAS Capstone (3 credits) Students participate in an approved fieldwork study program, integrating knowledge from coursework and synthesizing it in practical application, including workplace experience, class discussion, and a final project presentation.

Registration Restrictions

Registration for BAS courses is restricted to students in the Bachelor of Applied Science degree program, with specific prerequisites and requirements for each course.

All BAS courses are graded on the Undergraduate Regular scale.
