Organization Development and Knowledge Management (ODKM) Program

The Organization Development and Knowledge Management (ODKM) program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of organization development and knowledge management. 600 Level Courses

The 600 level courses in the ODKM program include:

• ODKM 600: Foundations of Organization Development and Knowledge Management
  • This course provides an introduction to organization development and knowledge management, covering historical and contemporary approaches to interventions in these fields.

• ODKM 605: Group Dynamics and Team Learning

• ODKM 722: Coaching and Organization Development
  • This course engages students at the cutting edge of transformational organizational change, exploring synergies between coaching and organization development to support positive transformation in complex systems.

• ODKM 725: Knowledge Management and Collaborative Work

• ODKM 732: Leadership and Social Justice
  • This course challenges participants to theorize and inhabit leadership and social justice, spanning inner journeys, interpersonal relationships, organizations, and large-scale systems, with a focus on ethical leadership in diverse perspectives and complex systems.

• ODKM 735: Organizational Development Practices
  • This course develops applied knowledge of various organizational development practices, including action research and appreciative inquiry, through simulations and group projects with selected organizations.

• ODKM 740: Learning Community
  • This course uses workshops, seminars, simulations, and structured experiences to learn how to build a Learning Community of Practice (CoP) as practitioners of organization development, reflecting on the community building experience using research findings.

  • Recommended Prerequisite: Candidates for the M.S. in ODKM degree only.
