Program Overview

The PEBU 0311 program focuses on Managerial and Cost Accounting, developing skills in identifying business processes, transforming data into useful information, and making managerial decisions. This program is designed for students in all areas of management, especially those whose career aims include cost management.

  • Budget Concepts, Policies and Principles: L1, L2, L3: Apply fiscal law, policies, regulations, principles, standards, and procedures to financial management activities.
  • Budget Execution: L1, L2, L3: Manage budget requirements by allocating, monitoring, and analyzing budgets in compliance with statutory/regulatory guidance.
  • Fundamentals and Operations of Accounting: L1, L2, L3, L4: Knowledge of traditional accounting practices including accrual, obligations, and costs methods.
  • Fundamentals and Operations of Budget: L1, L2, L3: Knowledge of the principles and practices of budget administration and analysis; including preparing, justifying, reporting on, and executing the budget; and the relationships among program, budget, accounting, and reporting systems.
