Program Overview

The Design & Engineering program is a Master's degree offered by the Politecnico di Milano. The program is designed to provide specialist training in three fundamental areas: Design, Process and Industrial Production; Design Materials; Representation and Prototyping.

Eligibility

To apply for the program, a Bachelor's Degree in Design or Engineering is required. Students with a Design background are required to provide a portfolio of their works. The program only accepts students in the first semester of the academic year (September intake).

Mission and Goals

The program aims to prepare a design figure who integrates the Design and "engineering" cultures, a professional able to provide a complete project dossier comprising product concept, via final and working design, and preparation of the documents necessary to go into production. The program focuses on specialist training in three fundamental areas: Design, Process and Industrial Production; Design Materials; Representation and Prototyping.
