Program Overview

The course, "Preparing Your Degree Thesis: An Introduction to the Final Examination," is designed to provide students with an introduction to the basic theoretical and methodological content useful for approaching the preparation of their degree thesis. The course serves as a preparatory activity for the development of two types of final papers, A and B, as outlined in the Integrative Regulations for the Final Examination.

Course Description

The course aims to provide students with practical guidelines and specific instructions for preparing their degree thesis. The course covers topics such as approaching the construction of a scientific methodology, structuring a table of contents for a research project, building a reference bibliography, and organizing the timeline for the final degree project.

Assessment

The final grade for the course will be based on the results of answers to assessed quizzes. Students have an unlimited number of attempts at each quiz, but must wait 15 minutes before trying again. Students will have successfully completed the course if they score 60% (or higher) in each one of the assessed quizzes.


Certificate

Students can achieve a certificate in the form of an Open Badge for this course if they reach at least 60% of the total score in each one of the assessed quizzes and fill in the final survey.
