Program Overview


Introduction to the Master's Program

The Master's Program in Management Engineering, also known as Ingegneria Gestionale, is a two-year program that consists of 120 credit points. The program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in management engineering, with the goal of developing a unified character for the management engineer profession.


Program Objectives

The program has two main objectives:


  • To develop a core set of knowledge, methodologies, and approaches that are common to the management engineer profession.
  • To provide students with a range of skills that can satisfy the diverse demands of businesses and institutions where management engineers will work.

Educational Goals

The program aims to develop five key skills in students:


  1. Comprehension: Understanding the challenges, functions, and processes in business and industry, as well as their effects on companies, the economy, the environment, and society.
  2. Identification: Identifying key trends, technologies, methodologies, and stakeholder needs in a specific context.
  3. Design: Developing solutions by applying a scientific and engineering approach, combined with participatory methods to address problems and opportunities in business, industry, and society.
  4. Development: Creating new ideas and transformative solutions that have a positive impact on evolving business, industrial, and social scenarios.
  5. Interaction: Working professionally, responsibly, inclusively, effectively, and constructively in a work environment, including motivating other team members.

Program Structure

The program consists of a two-year curriculum, with a mix of compulsory and elective courses. The first year is dedicated to foundational courses, while the second year allows students to specialize in a specific area.
