Program Overview
CREA Summer Academy Program
The CREA Summer Academy program aims to validate a new European model of Summer Academy for students who want to develop entrepreneurial ideas focused on creativity and ICT, and explore innovation in advanced sectors. The program will experiment with two editions of Summer Academy organized simultaneously in six European cities, concluding with an international event, the CREA ICT Business Idea Contest, to present results to international investors and award a prize.
Program Objectives
The general objectives of the CREA project are:
- To create a European system of Summer Academy for university students and high school seniors entirely focused on ICT entrepreneurship
- To create a Summer Academy model oriented towards action with a strong focus on ICT and the development of entrepreneurial skills, and a rich offer of mentoring, business planning support, matchmaking opportunities, and ICT-related business idea generation
- To stimulate the development of new startup business ideas based on ICT and creativity
- To integrate and extend the existing Summer Academy program, strongly focusing on ICT and creative entrepreneurship
- To organize and promote ICT business idea contests
