Social Gerontology Program

Goals

The Social Gerontology program aims to:


  • Deepen the knowledge of the field of Communication Sciences, observing criteria of high rigor, with connection to the organizational world (business, public and third sector)
  • Highlight the academic, political, economic and social importance of the knowledge and practice of communication in today's societies, marked by volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity
  • Orienting towards specialization experiences in both areas, with a view to Mestrado Degreeing the theoretical-conceptual and practical tools necessary for the high levels of demand in the professional exercise of communication
  • Strengthen research skills with advanced theoretical, analytical, critical and methodological contributions, preparing for advanced studies (Doutoramento Degree)
