Program Overview
M50 Program
The M50 program is designed to promote and recycle knowledge, with a focus on scientific, technical, and cultural themes rooted in the areas of expertise of the University of Lisbon's schools. The program aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of complex global challenges and to foster interdisciplinarity.
Course Description
The course "Entender o Mundo no Séc. XXI" (Understanding the World in the 21st Century) is part of the M50 program. It is designed to promote a deeper understanding of the world and its complexities, with a focus on the grand challenges facing humanity.
Target Audience
The course is primarily aimed at individuals over 50 years old, with a minimum education level of secondary school or equivalent. However, participants from other age groups are also welcome.

The course will be held over several semesters, with each semester focusing on a specific theme. The themes will be explored through lectures, discussions, and analysis, with the goal of providing a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter.

Tuition Fees
- Application fee: 10 (non-refundable)
- Tuition fee: 140 per semester + 2.10 (school insurance)
