Program Overview


Program Overview

The University of Lisbon offers a Master's program in Design of Equipment, which aims to provide students with advanced training in design research and methods. The program is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to pursue a career in design or to continue their studies at the doctoral level.


Objectives

The objectives of the program are to:

Admission Criteria

To be eligible for the program, applicants must meet one of the following criteria:


  • Hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Design, Engineering, or a related field
  • Hold a foreign academic degree in Design, Engineering, or a related field, which is recognized as meeting the objectives of a Bachelor's degree
  • Have a curriculum that demonstrates the ability to complete the program, as recognized by the Scientific Council of the Faculty of Fine Arts

Tuition Fees

The tuition fees for the program are as follows:


  • First year: 1,700.00 (indicative)
  • Subsequent years: 1,250.00 (indicative)
  • International students: 4,000.00 (indicative) for the first year, and 2,000.00 (indicative) for subsequent years

Program Structure

The program is designed to be completed in four semesters and consists of 120 ECTS credits. The program includes coursework, research, and a final project or thesis.
