Program Overview

The Licenciatura em Higiene Oral Dental Hygiene program is a 3-year course that totals 180 credit units (ECTS). The program is organized into curricular units that follow a model of acquiring vertical and horizontal skills. In the final year, students participate in a one-semester internship where they are specifically oriented to understand and apply the necessary knowledge for the profession of Dental Hygienist.
