Program Details
The Licenciatura em Design program has the following details:
- Global vision: The program is structured in six semesters, promoting complementarity of disciplinary areas, curricular units, and respective programmatic contents and exercises.
- Course objectives: The program aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of fundamental knowledge in the area of Design and a "culture of doing" suitable for specialization in Design products and services and Design communication, as well as effective and quality professional practice.
- Career Paths: The program prepares students for careers as junior designers in product and service development teams in industry, communication and advertising companies, service companies, and central and regional bodies.
- Faculty: The teaching staff includes professionals with extensive project experience and professors from other disciplinary areas who teach specific contents in an integrated and articulated perspective.
- Coordination: The program is coordinated by Professor Pedro Cortesão Monteiro, with coordinators for each year of the program.
