Introduction

The Degree in Biology program is offered by the Faculty of Sciences.

Admission Requirements

2025/2026

To be eligible for the program, candidates must meet the following admission requirements:

• Entrance exams: [02 - Biology and Geology and 07 - Physics and Chemistry] or [02 - Biology and Geology and 19 - Mathematics A]
• Minimum Ratings:
  • Application grade with a classification of at least 120 on a scale of 0-200
  • Entrance tests with classifications of at least 100 on a scale of 0-200, in the context of national exams for each of the specific subjects required for the course
• Calculation Formula: 50% - Final classification of secondary education, 50% - Classification of specific test(s)

The minimum and maximum grades for students placed in the program are as follows:

• 2024/2025:
  • 1st phase: 157.5 (minimum) | 195.5 (maximum)
  • 2nd phase: 159.0 (minimum) | 189.0 (maximum)
• 2023/2024:
  • 1st phase: 160.5 (minimum) | 193.5 (maximum)
  • 2nd phase: 171.0 (minimum) | 179.0 (maximum)
