Postgraduate in Health Administration and Management

The Post-Graduation in Health Administration and Management is officially recognized by the Colégio da Competência em Gestão de Serviços de Saúde da Ordem dos Médicos.

Objectives

The objectives of the Postgraduate Degree in Health Administration and Management are to:


  1. Provide knowledge of theories, concepts, methods, techniques, and instruments of management, offering a framework for practical application.
  2. Train senior staff of public, private, and social organizations with high technical capacity and specific knowledge in the health sector.
  3. Acquire competencies in the area of ​​health services management and administration.
  4. Promote interaction between students and instructors through practical application of knowledge and case analysis.
  5. Encourage the production of knowledge through academic work and publication.

Recipients

The Postgraduate Degree in Health Administration and Management is preferably aimed at:


  1. Senior staff (Administrators, Managers, Directors, and Coordinators) in the health sector who wish to update or deepen their knowledge in the scientific area of Management.
  2. Health professionals: Doctors, Dentists, Nurses, Pharmacists, Nutritionists, Psychologists, and Senior Technicians in Diagnosis and Therapy.
  3. Graduates in areas such as Management, Economics, Finance, Law, Health Technologies, Social Services, and other Senior Technicians with management responsibilities in the public, private, and/or social sectors.
  4. Other health institution directors (Administrative Councils/Executive Directors of ACES/Functional Unit Coordinators).
