Objetivos

The objectives of the program are to:

• Develop capacities for using an interdisciplinary approach, combining social and legal knowledge, in analyzing crimes and defining strategies for prevention, reintegration of offenders, and promotion of victims' rights and protection.
• Define strategies, plan, and implement intervention measures to prevent juvenile delinquency and contribute to the education of young people for the law.
• Obtain and deepen knowledge to improve professional practice in crime prevention and juvenile delinquency, as well as social reintegration.
• Understand the systems of application and execution of penalties and measures for young offenders, and know how to interpret the risk assessment of recidivism, considering it in the planning of social reintegration.
• Know the best practices in crime prevention and social reintegration of adults and young people, including observation in study visits.
• Improve competencies in understanding criminality, knowledge of strategies and measures aimed at prevention and social reintegration, and technical planning and performance, both in prison establishments, educational centers, schools, municipal councils, victim support organizations, among others.
