Program Overview
Introduction to the Ph.D. Program on Sustainable Energy Systems
The Ph.D. program on Sustainable Energy Systems (SES) is designed to train leaders and decision-makers in the field of sustainable energy systems. The program takes an interdisciplinary approach, providing students with knowledge that ranges from technology to economics. The emphasis is on energy systems design, research, leadership, and entrepreneurship, equipping students with the essential tools to be at the forefront of sustainable energy systems applications.
Program Organization
The course is organized jointly by the Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa (FCUL), the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto (FEUP), Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) – Universidade de Lisboa, and Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia (FCTUC)/Economia (FEUC) – Universidade de Coimbra.
