Description of Training Sites

Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center

Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center is jointly owned by Baylor College of Medicine and Common Spirit Health and is part of the CHI St. Luke's Health System. The medical staff at Baylor St. Luke's includes full-time Baylor faculty members and advanced practice providers, as well as community physicians.


Texas Children's Hospital

Texas Children's Hospital is an internationally recognized children's hospital and the primary pediatric training site for Baylor College of Medicine. Baylor faculty also are the service chiefs and staff physicians of Texas Children's.


Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center

The Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center has been affiliated with Baylor College of Medicine since 1949. Today it is one of the VA's largest hospitals, serving Harris County and 27 surrounding counties.


Ben Taub Hospital

Ben Taub Hospital is the largest hospital in the Harris Health System and provides an impressive range of services. The hospital's chief of staff and the chiefs of every medical and surgical service are full-time Baylor faculty members.


The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center

MD Anderson Cancer Center is one of the world's most respected centers devoted exclusively to cancer patient care, research, education, and prevention. Baylor College of Medicine students, residents and fellows have opportunities for clinical rotations and research training at MD Anderson.


The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston

The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston was the first burn center in the United States to be certified by both the ACS and ABA. UTMB Galveston/Shriners has the highest survival rate of patients with major burn inquiries.


Houston Methodist Hospital

Houston Methodist Hospital is ranked by U.S. News & World Report as one of the nation's top hospitals in 8 of 16 specialties. Houston Methodist comprises a leading academic medical center in the Texas Medical Center and six community hospitals serving the Greater Houston area.


Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute

Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute is made up of 12 surgeons and state-of-the-art facilities. Because of the experience and expertise of its surgeons, and its one-of-a-kind facilities, it is one of the pre-eminent destinations for plastic surgery and cosmetic surgery in the Dallas-Forth Worth Metroplex.
