The BCM Gastroenterology & Hepatology Board Review Course 2023 is designed for physicians, trainees, and allied health professionals with interest or clinical practice in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. This course serves as an update on the latest diagnostic and therapeutic issues in GI and Hepatology, utilizing a combination of lecture and case-based curriculum to provide an intensive review tool for GI and Hepatology Board Certification/Re-Certification Examination in 2023.

At the conclusion of the conference, participants should be able to:
- Summarize strategies for the management of IBS-D
- Discuss early detection of esophageal cancer and effective screening methods for high-risk patients
- Identify tailored approaches to optimizing medical therapy in inflammatory bowel disease
- Compare and contrast current therapy options for patients with viral hepatitis and drugs in the clinical development pipeline
- Develop appropriate management strategies for non-alcoholic fatty liver disease in clinical practice
- Identify appropriate diagnostic testing and treatment for H. pylori infection
- Implement treatment algorithms for clarithromycin-resistant H. pylori infection
- Determine the appropriate treatment for Hepatitis B patients based on the interpretations of Hepatitis B serologic testing results
