Admission Criteria

Zulassungsverfahren

For first-semester students, the program is zulassungsbeschršnkt. German and equivalent applicants must apply online from May 1, 2026, to July 15, 2026. International applicants without a German university entrance qualification must apply by May 31, 2026.

Requirements

Applicants must have solid knowledge of German and English (C1 level). English proficiency can be proven through a university entrance qualification or language certificates like TOEFL, IELTS, or C-Test. Non-native German speakers must demonstrate sufficient German language skills according to the DSH-PrŁfungsordnung.

Winter semester 2025/2026: October 1, 2025 - March 31, 2026, with lectures from October 13, 2025 - February 6, 2026. Summer semester 2026: April 1, 2026 - September 30, 2026, with lectures from April 13, 2026 - July 24, 2026.

Allgemeine und psychologische Studienberatung

The Zentrale Studienberatung offers advising services, including open office hours, virtual consultations, and telephone support.

Fachstudienberatung

Frau Lena MŁller-Westphal provides academic advising for the Rechtswissenschaftliche Fakultšt, with office hours on Mondays from 10-12 pm and 2-4 pm during the lecture period.

Fachschaftsberatung

The Fachschaft Jura offers advising services, with office hours from 10 am - 1 pm, Monday to Friday, during the lecture period, and limited hours during the non-lecture period.
