Training Stations and Content

The 3.5-year training program is divided into practical and theoretical components. From the outset, you will be a valued member of the team, supporting the planning and organization of various electrical installations. Your tasks will include:

• Installing electrical components such as switches, sockets, and lighting fixtures
• Conducting maintenance work on safety equipment
• Troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems
• Creating measurement and testing protocols

The program's diverse range of buildings and technical systems will provide you with a broad spectrum of experiences, from standard installations in older buildings to more complex and demanding systems in scientific centers. You will also have the opportunity to gain insights into additional areas such as emergency power generators, safety lighting, and elevators.

Theoretical education is provided in three blocks per year, each lasting four to six weeks, at the Hans-B鐼kler-Berufskolleg in M𤦂ster. Additionally, you will receive external training from the Chamber of Skilled Crafts.

Duration and Possible Reduction

The training program lasts 3.5 years. However, it may be possible to reduce the duration to 3 years for trainees with a higher education entrance qualification or those who demonstrate exceptional performance during the training and in vocational school.
