The Niederlande-Deutschland-Studien (BA) program is designed to foster a deep understanding of the relationships between Germany and the Netherlands. The program aims to equip students with the necessary knowledge, skills, and competencies to excel in a variety of professional settings, including the German, Dutch, cross-border, European, and international job markets.
Program Structure
The program is interdisciplinary in nature, reflecting the diverse requirements of the modern workforce. The curriculum encompasses a range of subjects, including:

- Kultur & Kommunikation (Culture and Communication)
- Europa & Wirtschaft (Europe and Economics)

Admission Criteria
The Bachelor's program is not subject to admission restrictions. Prior knowledge of Dutch is not required for admission to the program.
Study Abroad Opportunities
The program includes a mandatory semester abroad at one of the partner universities, which takes place in the fifth semester.
Practical Experience
The program provides opportunities for students to gain practical experience through internships. A three-month internship is integrated into the final year of the Bachelor's program.
Career Prospects
Graduates of the program are qualified for a range of Master's programs and can also enter the workforce directly. The interdisciplinary nature of the program makes graduates flexible and adaptable, preparing them for a variety of career paths.
