The "Durchstarten. Von der Promotion zur Professur" program is designed to encourage and support excellent female doctoral candidates in pursuing a scientific career. The program is primarily aimed at doctoral candidates who are not part of structured programs or third-party funding associations.

The program offers information on career planning, appearance in scientific contexts, networking, and reconciling family and career through workshops, lunch lectures, and group supervision. The program runs for two semesters and includes an opening and closing event.
Application Requirements
To apply for the program, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Be advanced doctoral candidates (expected to complete their promotion during or after the program)
- Commit to active participation in all program components
- Be able to participate in seminars conducted in German

Program Goals
The program aims to counteract the "leaky pipeline" and attract qualified women to scientific careers. The costs of the program are covered by a scholarship from the Office for Equality.
Target Group
The program is aimed at female doctoral candidates, particularly those outside of structured programs or third-party funding associations, as well as female medical doctoral candidates.
